Terms

Plain terms for using Hobby Hub. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What Hobby Hub is
- A directory of places to practise, learn and buy equipment for your hobby in Cairo, and in time a way to find other people who share it. Music is the first hobby.
- It is free to use and there is nothing to buy.
What we promise
- The listings were researched from public sources. Nothing was invented.
- Where we could not confirm exactly where a place is, we say so on its page and show no map at all, rather than drop a pin we are not sure about.
- We do not invent ratings. A rating appears only once a real person has left one.
- The places you save are private to you, and that is enforced by the database rather than by good intentions.
What we do not promise
- Hobby Hub is a directory. It is not an introduction service and it is not a guarantee.
- We do not employ, vet, inspect, insure or endorse any teacher, shop or person listed here.
- Details go out of date and places close. Check before you travel.
- Use your own judgement about who you meet, what you pay, and where you go. Whatever you arrange is between you and them, not us.
Who is responsible for each entry
- Every place, teacher, shop and event on Hobby Hub belongs to someone else — the business, the organiser or the venue. They alone are responsible for it: for what it says, for the lessons, goods, rooms or events they offer, for their prices, tickets and refunds, for the safety of their premises, and for holding whatever licences, permits or insurance the law requires of them.
- Hobby Hub points you to them. We are not the seller, the organiser, the venue or their agent, and we are not a party to anything you buy or book from them. A ticket link opens the seller's own site, and a phone number opens a call to the organiser; what happens on either is governed by their terms, not ours.
- Where we entered a listing or an event ourselves, we did so from public sources, with the source recorded, and in good faith. We are not responsible for a change the business did not tell us about, for a cancelled event, or for a description that turned out to be wrong — but tell us, and we will correct or remove it.
- Pictures, descriptions and reviews are the responsibility of whoever supplied them. A business or a person named on Hobby Hub can have their entry corrected or removed by writing to support@hobbyhub.app.
- None of this limits what Egyptian law would hold us responsible for in any case, such as our own fraud or gross fault.
Using it fairly
- You must be 13 or older to have an account, and under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Do not copy the listings wholesale to build something else with them.
- Do not use Hobby Hub to harass anyone.
- Do not review a place you have not been to, and do not review your own business.
- We can hide a review, or close an account, when any of these is broken.
Anything you write
- A review you write stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside Hobby Hub, and nothing more.
- You can delete it whenever you like, and deleting it removes it from the place's rating too.
If something goes wrong
- Hobby Hub is offered as it is, free of charge, and we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.
- Nothing written here removes any right you have under Egyptian law.
Which law applies
- These terms follow the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Getting in touch
- support@hobbyhub.app. Tell us about a listing that is wrong, a place that has closed, or anything here you disagree with.
- If you own a place listed here, or you are a teacher named here, and you want it taken down, say so at the same address and it comes down.
